The historic Gerstle Park neighborhood – San Rafael’s oldest neighborhood – is bordered by downtown to the North and open space to the South. We are named after the beautiful city park donated by the Gerstle Family which is also the setting for many of our events.

The purpose of the Gerstle Park Neighborhood Association (GPNA) is to draw a wide diversity of people to work together and partner with our community and local government to enhance and protect the character and livability of our neighborhood.

We are NOT a home ownership association – membership is open to anyone who lives (or operates a business) in our neighborhood!
