Choosing the Future We Want: What Does Plan Bay Area Mean for Marin?

MCL is co-sponsor of a public Forum to discuss the recently released Draft Plan Bay Area. This is the third in a series of public Forums since 2011 put on by Marin organizations to engage the local community in addressing what effects regional planning to implement SB 375 might have on Marin County.

The May 9 Forum differs from public meetings held by the Association of Bay Area Governments and Metropolitan Transportation Commission (joint authors of the Draft Plan Bay Area and its EIR) in that it offers an opportunity for discussion of local issues by local speakers. Moderator: Supervisor Katie Rice.

Earth Week 2013

You might have noticed that there are a couple new coats of paint on the Gerstle Park fence where D Street meets Antoinette Avenue.  Thanks to Mary Valente for leading this 2 day activity and to all of the volunteers who helped make it happen!  Take a look at the photos in our gallery.
